By accessing or using Vintage Scanner ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service. We reserve the right to update these terms at any time, and your continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of any changes.
Vintage Scanner is an AI-powered platform for vintage item authentication, valuation, and collection management. The Service uses multiple artificial intelligence engines to analyze photographs of vintage items and provide estimated authenticity assessments, era classifications, and market valuations. All assessments are estimates and should not be considered definitive appraisals.
To access certain features of the Service, you must create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must provide accurate and complete information during registration and keep your account information up to date. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
The Service, including its design, features, content, and underlying technology, is owned by Vintage Scanner and is protected by intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of images you upload but grant us a limited license to process them for providing the Service. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer any part of the Service without our express written permission.
Heritage Tags generated by the Service are digital certificates associated with scanned items. These tags represent AI-generated assessments and do not constitute official appraisals, certifications, or guarantees of authenticity. Heritage Tags are linked to your account and may be shared or transferred according to the features available in your subscription plan.
Certain Heritage Tags may be recorded on a blockchain for provenance tracking. Once recorded, blockchain entries are immutable and cannot be deleted. By using this feature, you acknowledge and consent to the permanent nature of blockchain records. We are not responsible for any consequences arising from information permanently stored on the blockchain.
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. Vintage Scanner shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you have paid for the Service in the twelve months preceding the claim. AI-generated valuations and authenticity assessments are estimates only and should not be relied upon as the sole basis for purchasing or selling decisions.
We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these terms or for any other reason at our discretion. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. You may also delete your account at any time through your account settings. Data retention after termination is governed by our Privacy Policy.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved in the courts located in Delaware. If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
